About the Event

The conference will be practical in focus: workshops from Mental Health First Aid and CNTW (Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear NHS Foundation Trust) will demystify the language surrounding mental health, build awareness of signs and symptoms and walk through approaches to supporting young people experiencing social, emotional or mental health challenges in musical settings.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to charities including Help Musicians UK - who provide extra support for professional musicians at crucial stages of their career and Tiny Changes - set up by the family of Frightened Rabbit singer Scott Hutchison to raise awareness of children and young people's menta
